Palestine Temple # 18, Prince Hall Affiliation of Shriners, Desert of Alabama, Oasis of Mobile offers scholarships to Alabama students who have been officially accepted at an accredited College or University.

REQUIREMENTS:

• All applicants must be a graduating senior
• All applicants must be graduating in the 2022/2023 school year
• All applicants must have maintained a GPA of 2.5 or higher

• All applicants must complete the application in its entirety

APPLICATION PROCEDURES

1. Complete the attached application form.

2. Attach Official High School transcript.

3. Submit a typewritten essay explaining the importance of a college education in today’s society. The essay must be a minimum of 300 words and not more than 500 words.

4. Include two Letters of Recommendations as listed below:

   1. One from a Teacher or Guidance Counselor

   2. One from a Community or Religious Leader

5. Attach a copy of your Official Acceptance Letter from the College or University you plan to attend.
