A NOTE FROM THE ILLUSTRIOUS COMMANDRESS
I bring you greetings as the Illustrious Commandress of Palestine Court No. 49, located in the Oasis of Mobile and the Desert of Alabama.
The Daughters of Palestine Court No. 49 are committed to being Finer Women of our community. In the midst of the many hardships of 2022, we will strive to continue with our list of community service projects and others. We have a mentoring youth program, D.I.M.E, in which we reach out and create guidance and leadership to the young ladies of our great Oasis of Mobile. We participate in the Alzheimer's Assoc. Relay for Life, ACS Breast Cancer Walk, Virtual Sickle Cell Walk, Voter Registration, NAACP Drive and the HBCU Initiative. We provide Financial support to the Ronald McDonald House wish list, we support Twin Oaks Rehabilitation and Healthcare for resident activities. The Daughters participate annually in the National Community Health Initiative Walk with financial support to the American Diabetes Assoc. The Court collect tools for schools and assist the Nobles of Palestine Temple No.18 with a book bag drive for our local school age kids and toy drive collection for the Child Advocacy Center.
Although this year may be another challenge, We will continue to provide support to our community and fellow Temples and Courts.

A NOTE FROM THE DEPUTY FOR THE OASIS
I greet you as the Deputy for the Oasis of Mobile in the GREAT Desert of Alabama.
The Daughters of Palestine Court No. 49 strive to promote initiatives to serve the community and support our Nobles in all their endeavors. Some of the programs of Palestine Court No. 49 include, but are not limited to: locally we serve Ronald McDonald House, Twin Oaks Rehabilitation & Health Care Center, Springhill Recreation Center, and Seal Recreation Center. We participate in the ACS Relay for Life, ACS Breast Cancer Walk, Voter Registration Drives, NAACP Drives, Mentoring youth through our DIME program, Donation of book bags, and school supplies to children in the community. In addition to volunteer activities, financial donations are made annually to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, March of Dimes, UNCF, American Cancer Society, American Diabetes Association and other civic and special interest organizations.
